DeFi Development Corp. raises SOL holdings to about 2.3889 million and sets up $300 million ATM program

DeFi Development Corp., a Solana treasury company listed on Nasdaq under the ticker DFDV, said its total SOL holdings rose by 55,491 tokens from Aug. 27 to roughly 2.3889 million SOL and SOL equivalents, an increase of about 2%, according to GlobeNewswire. The company also announced an at-the-market program for up to $300 million of its variable rate Series C perpetual preferred stock, trading under the symbol CHAD. R.F. Lafferty & Co. will act as the exclusive sales agent. DeFi Development said the offering price is expected to be no lower than the $10 per share par value, and that net proceeds would be used primarily to acquire additional SOL. The company added that establishing the CHAD ATM program does not mean financing will begin right away, and it is under no obligation to sell any shares.

Strategy said the latest purchase was funded through its at-the-market equity program. Strategy said in an 8-K filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that it bought 4,603 BTC between Aug. 24 and Aug. 30, 2026, at an average price of about $80,318 per coin, for a total of roughly $369.7 million. The company said the purchase was funded with proceeds from its MSTR common stock at-the-market, or ATM, program. Over the same period, Strategy sold 4.5314 million shares of MSTR common stock through the ATM program and generated about $602.8 million in net proceeds. Of that amount, $369.7 million was used to buy Bitcoin, $151.8 million went to repurchase STRC preferred stock, $50.7 million was used to pay STRC dividends, and $30 million was allocated to the USD Cash liquidity account. Strategy also said it repurchased 1.5572 million shares of STRC preferred stock for $151.8 million, leaving about $364.8 million remaining under the preferred stock repurchase authorization. During the same period, Strategy sold 18.2611 million shares of MSTR common stock through its at-the-market, or ATM, program and generated about $2.0065 billion in net proceeds. Strategy keeps STRC dividend rate at 12% for August 2026 as shares remain below par

Strategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor said the company will keep the Stretch Dividend Rate on its Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock, STRC, at 12.00% for August 2026. STRC was launched in July 2025 with an initial rate of 9% and has been raised for seven straight months since then. Under the stock’s dividend reset structure, the payout increases by 0.5% whenever the trading price falls below $95, and once triggered, those increases are not reversed even if the price later recovers. Strategy resets the rate every month in an effort to move STRC closer to its $100 par value and uses at-the-market issuance to raise funds for Bitcoin purchases. On July 31, STRC closed at $89.46, down from the previous close of $89.50 and roughly 10% to 11% below par. The stock had fallen as low as $71.25 in June and has not returned to par since mid-May. Strategy has also paused new STRC issuance through its ATM program, limiting that funding route for expanding its Bitcoin holdings, while maintaining a liquidity buffer that covers about 26 months of dividend and interest obligations.

Strategy holds 843,775 BTC, with nearly $9.9 billion in unrealized losses

Strategy Inc. is holding 843,775 BTC, valued at about $55 billion based on a bitcoin price of roughly $64,500, according to a ChainCatcher report. The company’s total bitcoin acquisition cost stands at about $63.69 billion, implying an average purchase price near $75,500 per coin and an unrealized loss of nearly $9.9 billion. Executive Chairman Michael Saylor said that as of July 12, 2026, Strategy’s bitcoin reserves remained at 843,775 BTC, while its U.S. dollar reserves reached $3 billion after a $450 million increase. The company has not bought more bitcoin since June 22 and recently sold 3,588 BTC to build a cash position. The report also said the $3 billion reserve could cover about 20 months of preferred stock dividends and debt interest obligations. During the week, Strategy raised about $467 million by selling common stock through its at-the-market program, marking a third straight week without additional bitcoin purchases. Saylor said the company is converting bitcoin into Digital Credit.
